The Hon. AILEEN MacDONALD (12:38): I move:

(1)That this House notes that on 3 November 2025, the Hon. Aileen MacDonald met with Avril Saunders, operations manager and counsellor from Jupiter space to talk, a not-for-profit organisation based in Port Stephens, dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people across New South Wales.

(2)That this House acknowledges the outstanding efforts in providing early intervention, counselling and accessible support services for young people aged 12 to 25, helping them navigate life's challenges through connection, communication and care.

(3)That this House recognises the vital role that Jupiter plays in reducing stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging open, supportive conversations among young people, families and the broader community.

(4)That this House commends the dedication of operations manager and counsellor Avril Saunders, together with the staff, volunteers and supporters of Jupiter, for creating safe spaces where young people feel heard, supported and empowered to seek help.

(5)That this House calls on the Government to continue supporting and promoting community-based mental health initiatives that provide early intervention and accessible support for young people across New South Wales.
