Moonshadow TQC Cruises

The Hon. AILEEN MacDONALD (12:38): I move:

(1)That this House notes that on 3 November 2025, the Hon. Aileen MacDonald visited Moonshadow TQC Cruises in Port Stephens, a locally owned cruise operator providing dolphin and whale watching, private charters, weddings and educational school programs.

(2)That this House acknowledges the significant contribution of Moonshadow TQC Cruises to the local economy and community, including the creation and provision of employment opportunities, supporting regional tourism, and engaging with local schools and community groups.

(3)That this House commends general manager James McArthur, along with the staff of Moonshadow TQC Cruises, for their commitment to sustainable tourism, environmental stewardship and community engagement, demonstrating how locally owned enterprises can deliver strong economic and social benefits.

(4)That this House calls on the Government to recognise and support small tourism enterprises such as Moonshadow TQC Cruises, which deliver both economic and community benefits, through appropriate policies, partnerships, and sustainable development initiatives.
