The Hon. AILEEN MacDONALD (12:38): I move:

(1)That this House notes that on 4 November 2025, the Hon. Aileen MacDonald attended the 2025 Youth Work Conference and Awards, Beyond Boundaries, an event that brought together young people, youth work practitioners, policymakers and community organisations to explore bold ideas, practical solutions and innovative approaches to youth work.

(2)That this House acknowledges the significant work of Youth Action and the leadership of Lauren Stracey in building the capacity of young people, youth workers and youth services, and in advocating for a society where all young people in New South Wales are supported, engaged, valued and have their rights realised.

(3)That this House commends the efforts of all staff and volunteers for their dedication to young people, including those who are regional, First Nations, from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, living with disability or otherwise experiencing disadvantage.

(4)That this House congratulates Youth Action for its leadership in delivering the conference and awards program, strengthening sector capacity and fostering meaningful community engagement.

(5)That this House calls on the Government to support Youth Action through funding, research partnerships, policy mechanisms and event platforms to strengthen the youth services sector.
